  • Wrote an original play expanding on a Ukrainian folktale, creating a sequel/continuation of the traditional story.

  • Selected for Talespinner Children's Theatre's PLAYGround series, a showcase of family-friendly new works at the BorderLight Theatre Festival.

  • Work will be presented as a staged reading with the opportunity for audience response.

The Last Theatre Program at the End of the World

  • Created an original short play exploring the theme of solidarity as part of the Storyteller Studio's year-long playwriting and dramaturgy cohort.

  • Worked alongside dancers, composers, and a fellow poet to create an original multimedia performance piece.

  • Wrote and performed "the way we bleed," a poem personifying industrialism and mother nature as sisters in an ongoing conflict.

  • Participated in iterative creative processes, sharing works-in-progress and communicating with collaborators to develop a cohesive final performance.

  • Recognized as one of six winning playwrights for an original short comedic play exploring the themes of love and grief.

The WritingLAB 2024 Summer Ekphrastic Writing Residency

Residency | Poet-in-Residence | Arts By The People | 2024

  • Participated in a summer writing residency, working independently over the course of three months to create an ekphrastic poem inspired by dance.

  • Attended an opening workshop with 12 other poets exploring embodiment through basic dance movements to inform our poetic practices.

  • Contributed work to a collaborative publication featuring poems alongside stills and QR codes linking to the original dance performances.

The Autoethnography of Len Zaratoga

Speculative Fiction (Postcard Series) | Designer/Curator | Design and the Future of Publishing | The New School | 2024

  • Created an 8-piece postcard series exploring place-based narrative through speculative fiction and visual storytelling.

  • Developed the character of "Len Zaratoga," a travel photographer, to provide authentic narrative context.

  • Researched regional geography and wildlife as well as period-appropriate print elements to create authentic 2011-era designs using Figma and AI tools.

  • Produced a short documentary examining three generations of Ukrainian-American men and their relationship to cultural identity.

  • Conducted in-depth interviews and developed narrative structure for sensitive cross-generational conversations about immigration and family history.

2050: Looking Backward - The Vector May 1st Issue

Speculative Fiction | Writer/Designer | Literature: Science Fiction | NJIT | 2020

  • Created a conceptual future issue of the school newspaper as an alternative to the traditional final essay format.

  • Wrote multiple short articles synthesizing themes from science fiction, journalism, and philosophy courses taken during my undergraduate career.

  • Developed the project in spring 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, using the format to reflect on interrupted final semester experiences.

An Analysis of the Influences of Culture, Gender, and Media: A Dialogue on Game of Thrones

Thesis Project | Researcher/Writer | B.S. Science, Technology and Society | NJIT | 2019

  • Conducted primary and secondary research examining cultural messaging about gender in popular media, using HBO's Game of Thrones as a case study.

  • Designed and utilized quantitative and qualitative research tools, including surveys and interviews, to analyze audience perceptions and media influence, producing statistically significant findings from target populations.

  • Presented and defended research methodology and conclusions before an academic review board.
