Writing

My written work comes from a place of social-scientific curiosity— seeking answers to questions of how people and things affect and are affected by the communities they inhabit. My writing projects range from academic analysis (like my deep dive into gender expression in HBO's Game of Thrones), to journalistic speculative fiction, to an ongoing blog project where I document my travels to different waterfalls. In writing and editing, I approach each work as a chance to connect readers with stories of the world we live in and the systems that shape it.
